Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore
The title “Santa Maria del Fiore” (Lady of the flower) alludes to the name of the city, "Florentia", or “city of flowers”, “destined to bloom”, and to its emblem, the Florentine lily.
Little do people know, espresso originated from here with the invention of the first modern espresso machine by Angelo Moriondo in 1884, which then went on to be reinvented and revolutionized by others for many years after - setting the foundation for how we enjoy espresso based drinks to this day.
In our pursuit of masterful craft, it's only fitting one of our first signature espresso blends is inspired by the birthplace of espresso.
